JetBlue passengers accused of having sex in front of children on flight banned from airline — but have charges dropped

The Connecticut couple accused of performing sex acts in front of children on a JetBlue flight and banned from the airline for the mid-air romp dodged criminal charges last week.

Trista Reilly and Christopher Arnold had their lewd and lascivious conduct charges dropped after their case stalled in court as prosecutors attempted to answer a jurisdictional question, WWSB reported.

The Sarasota state attorney’s office dismissed the sex crime charges on Oct. 30.

Prosecutors revealed in September that the case had slowed down in Sarasota County Court because of a jurisdiction question. They dropped the case due to the incident happening outside of Florida.

It was not known if the charges would be brought against the couple in another court.

Reilly, 43, and Arnold, 42, were aboard JetBlue Flight 163 from New York’s JFK Airport to Florida’s Sarasota-Bradenton International on July 19 when they engaged in the mid-flight act.

A horrified mother allegedly caught Reilly making “up-and-down movements with her head” while she was face down in Arnold’s lap shortly after the plane left New York.

The mother, traveling with her two kids, alerted the flight crew, who ended the mile-high romp.

The minors corroborated to police what they saw after the plane landed in Florida.

The dirty couple was arrested and charged with the sex crimes.

They were released from jail on their own recognizance as a judge tried to determine the jurisdiction of the case.

JetBlue slapped the couple with a lifetime ban from flying with the airline again.

“This behavior is completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated by JetBlue,” the airline told WWSB.

“Immediately upon receiving the report, our crewmembers acted swiftly to engage JetBlue’s security team and law enforcement. We are fully cooperating with the investigation, and these customers are no longer welcome to fly JetBlue.”

The couple had been released from jail on their own recognizance until a court determined jurisdiction in the case.

Arnold was charged in March with disorderly conduct and assault stemming from an incident in Danbury.
