Jason Kelce wants to make at least one of his daughters his couch companion on game days.

“My daughters don’t like watching sports with me yet,” the father of four shared on the Monday, Nov. 24 episode of his and brother Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast. “How do I start to convince them to like watching sports? Is it the haircut? I gotta start playing with the games? Is that the key?”

The retired NFL star, who shares daughters Wyatt, 6, Elliotte, 4, Bennett, 2, and Finnley, 7 months, with wife Kylie Kelce, noted that his girls are still “so young.”

“Wyatt, I think she would do it now,” Jason explained of his eldest daughter. “She usually wants to watch some Disney movie or another game. But I’m hopeful that it’s gonna start to happen.”

He added that his daughters don’t have the “attention span” to sit through an entire game.

“I gotta start coming up with a game, I think,” he said. “ I think that’s the way. I gotta figure out some way that we’re doing something and playing while the game’s happening because the attention span is not there. These kids, they can’t sit down and watch. They just want the screen to be changing continually.”

Sports take up most of Jason’s professional life. After retiring as the center for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2024, the Cleveland native went on to serve as an on-air analyst for ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown.

His wife, Kylie, a high school field hockey coach and former player, is a diehard Eagles fan and was before meeting Jason. The couple tied the knot in 2018 after meeting on Tinder.

“We’re very busy, both of us,” Jason recently told PEOPLE of himself and Kylie.

“I know I’m retired from football, but one thing ends and other things start,” the former center explained in October. “We have four children now, two of which are off doing preschool and kindergarten, and it feels like our lives continue to get more booked up.”

Jason has also previously addressed whether or not he’d want to try to have a son.

Jason was asked on the Bussin’ with the Boys podcast for his thoughts on trying for a son with Kylie, which he said “would be fun” if it “happened” that way. “But I think at the end of the day, I say what my dad always said: We’re very blessed to have four healthy, smart, charismatic, amazing children, and I would not trade any of that for a second.”
