Even Role Model’s grandma loves his Sexiest Man Alive centerfold.
The indie pop singer, 28, shared a photo dump to Instagram on Monday, Nov. 24, including a photo of his grandma holding up his PEOPLE centerfold with a big smile on her face.
Role Model is PEOPLE’s first-ever Sexiest Man Alive centerfold, so it’s no wonder he included it in his highlight reel.
His “certified sexy” appointment came a year after he lost Sexiest Musician to Harry Styles in PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive 2024 Reader’s Choice Poll. And though it was a reader’s choice poll, Role Model put PEOPLE at the top of his enemies list. Hopefully, we’ve amended things by crowning him our 2025 centerfold.

“I feel amazing. It’s incredible. I’m honored,” said the singer-songwriter, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury, of his momentous feat.
“It feels like you maybe had a falling out with a friend, and it’s that first text you get back after a year of not talking to each other, and it’s like, ‘Hey man, happy birthday. I know we haven’t talked, but I’m just reaching out,” the singer told PEOPLE. “It feels good.”
The carousel post also features highlights from his No Place Like Tour, including Niall Horan as his “Sally” during his performance of his viral hit “Sally, When the Wine Runs Out,” at his Nov. 4 show in London. Role Model revealed that this is his “favorite part of the set now,” in his Sexiest Man Alive feature story.
Role Model also teased his upcoming album with a photo of him in the studio and a caption that reads, “i’ve been working hard on little miss RM3…”
The singer told PEOPLE that he had been “writing a lot” on tour and drawing inspiration from “new experiences, going home, reconnecting with old friends.”
“It feels different this time,” he said. “I’m not pulling myself out of social experiences to write an album. I’m trying to do the opposite and experience everything right now.”
Role Model went on to share that he initially felt pressure following the success of “Sally, When the Wine Runs Out,” but “at some point, I stopped feeling any pressure to top it.”
“I felt that for a little bit and decided that maybe that wasn’t the time to start writing, if I’m in that headspace,” he shared. “I made it two years ago, and I think I’ve grown now, and I can write better songs than this, so I’m not worried.”
As for when his next album will be released, Role Model is unsure.
“I’d love to have another album out [by] next fall, but we’ll see. I can’t plan that far ahead,” he said.
