Pete Davidson is one step closer to fatherhood.
The “Saturday Night Live” alum, 32, attended his pregnant girlfriend Elsie Hewitt’s bunny-themed baby shower over the weekend, where the couple shared a passionate kiss in Hewitt’s Instagram post that documented the event.
In one video, Hewitt, 29, and her friends lined up at a table and raced to diaper teddy bears, before the model turned around and kissed Davidson, who was watching the competition with a big smile on his face.
Hewitt’s post also included footage of her holding a small diapered teddy bear, her posing with a flower-decorated cake, and a table filled with packages of Coterie brand diapers.
“sweetest special-est day filled with love and cake and diapers and fwends and hugs and bagels and gifts for my lil bunny on the way 🥹👶🏼🐰,” she wrote in her caption.
Davidson and Hewitt were first linked in March and confirmed they were expecting a baby together in July.
Hewitt announced the big news with footage of the couple at an ultrasound appointment, which she shared on Instagram with the caption, “Welp now everyone knows we had sex.”
Earlier this month, Hewitt told fans she’s “suffering” and “in so much pain every single day” during her pregnancy.
“I’m in absolute agony pretty much 24/7,” she shared in a video on her Instagram Stories. “This morning, it’s really bad.”
Hewitt explained that she believes her endometriosis — a condition where tissue grows outside the uterus — is “heavily linked” to Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, a connective tissue disorder that she’s battling.
“I actually really don’t know how it could get worse than this,” she added.
Davidson, for his part, has been over the moon about Hewitt’s pregnancy.
“It’s my dream to be a dad, so I’m so excited, Elsie’s excited,” the comedian said on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in July. “I’m excited to see her be a mom, so we’re stoked.”
“It’s the best,” he added about preparing for fatherhood. “Everything else doesn’t really matter anymore — it’s nice.”
On Kevin Hart’s talk show in 2022, Davidson spoke about wanting to start a family.
My favorite thing ever, which I’m yet to achieve, is I wanna have a kid,” Davidson stated.
“It’s super corny, but it would be so fun to dress up a little dude,” he continued. “I’m so excited for that chapter so that’s kind of what I’m just preparing for now, is trying to be like good as a dude and develop and get better so when that happens it’s just easier.”
