Irate passenger kicked off United Airlines flight in Newark after cursing out attendant

This potty-mouthed passenger took a stand — and lost her seat.

A United Airlines passenger’s meltdown went viral after the irate woman lobbed a few choice words at a poised flight attendant during a delay on the tarmac at Newark Liberty International Airport.

A fellow traveler captured the woman’s entire tirade — which quickly garnered nearly 500,000 views on TikTok since it was posted on Nov. 10.

“This woman went absolutely nuts and we had to return back to the gate to remove her,” the passenger wrote in the caption.

In the video, a blonde woman stuck in the window seat shuffles out of her row, but crosses paths with a flight attendant moving down the aisle.

The crew member pauses, but doesn’t appear to say anything. Still, the ornery traveler snaps.

“I’m getting up. I’m allowed to stand up. When you keep us on the tarmac for an hour, I’m allowed to stand up,” the woman groused.

The flight attendant merely makes way for her and says that it’s “not a problem,” according to the video.

“Not a problem at all. Really not a problem for me to want to f–king stand. F–king c–ts,” the passenger hissed as the flight attendant walked away.

Then, in a moment of karmic glory, the testy traveler realizes that she’s being recorded and goes dead silent. She drags her gaze away from the phone and tries to play it cool.

The witness who recorded the encounter later shared an update and explained that their flight to Charleston, South Carolina, was delayed for three hours before they even boarded, then halted for another hour and a half on the tarmac.

“So at this point, everyone’s just over it. You can feel the collective exhaustion. And then this woman just loses it and starts screaming the c-word over and over and over again. And everyone goes silent,” the TIkToker said. 

From there, other passengers tried to calm the woman down to no avail. The TikToker said that she “started spiraling” and eventually had to be “escorted off” the plane.

She said that another person who was sitting next to her tried to tell the screaming woman to “please chill,” which only made matters worse.

The shrieking passenger started telling other people to kill themselves and went on a long-winded monologue about how difficult her life is, the TikToker said.

“And then the man behind me goes ‘we all have somewhere to be, my mom’s funeral is tomorrow’ and that just kind of put everything into perspective for everyone. We’re all stressed, we all have our own things going on,” she said.

The man’s candor wasn’t enough to de-escalate the situation, though.

“The crew then had the biggest guys on the plane sit next to her just in case she got physical,” the witness explained.

“She put her sunglasses on [while being escorted off] and started going, ‘Thank God’,” she added.

The fellow passenger assured that the flight attendants “were actual angels” all the while and that “everybody stayed calm.”

In early November, the government was still embroiled in its record-breaking shutdown, which led to disastrous delays spurred by staffing shortages at major airports across the United States.
