Heroes, zeros and the full blitz from the Jets’ 27-24 win over the Falcons at MetLife Stadium on Sunday:

Hero

Jets veteran quarterback Tyrod Taylor was a leader in every respect, finding ways all day.

He completed 19-of-33 for 172 yards and a touchdown, and he rushed for 44 yards and scored a TD.

His 52-yard TD pass to Adonai Mitchell tied the game at 14-14 in the third quarter and his 10-yard TD run tied it at 24-24 late in the fourth.

Unsung hero

Jets receiver Adonai Mitchell, acquired at the trade deadline as a throw-in, caught eight passes for 102 yards and that 52-yard TD from Taylor, his first NFL TD reception.



Zero

Falcons cornerback and kick returner Jamal Agnew muffed a punt that was recovered by Jets DB Quan’tez Stiggers at the Atlanta 2-yard line and gifted the Jets their first TD of the game in the second quarter.
