Amy Schumer fuels Chris Fischer divorce rumors with telling detail in new photos

Amy Schumer might’ve just dropped a hint that she is, indeed, divorcing her husband, Chris Fischer.
The comedian, who has been on a weight-loss journey, took to Instagram over the weekend to share several photos of herself flaunting her slimmed-down figure.
Sporting a butter yellow minidress with black slingback heels, Schumer struck various poses on her staircase.
A noticeably missing accessory was her wedding ring, though she wasn’t wearing any jewelry with the look.
“Trying to go to the party but someone won’t go to bed,” Schumer, 44, captioned the pictures, which showed her and Fischer’s 6-year-old son, Gene, playing around in the background.
A rep for Fischer did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Earlier this month, Schumer scrubbed all of her pre-weight-loss posts from her Instagram page, insisting that she “deleted [her] old pics for no reason!”
She then uploaded a carousel featuring modeling shots that did not include her wedding ring.
“Your Instagram is not your identity it’s a curation of what you want the world to see and I feel great strong and beautiful and it’s been fun sharing that,” she later explained.
However, the Daily Mail later reported that there is more to the story.
“Amy is 100% getting divorced. She got skinny. She is over it,” a source told the outlet, noting that she “deleted Chris from Instagram, then deleted everything else. She’s going to file soon, but it’s over. Done.”
The source also claimed that the chef, 45, is “mostly out of the house at this point. They’ve listed two homes now — in Brooklyn and New Orleans.”
Another source pointed out that the actress “has not taken him on a red carpet for months.”
“When a woman loses weight, her personality changes,” the second source argued. “Amy has changed since losing weight; she is much lighter in her spirit, more easygoing. I think she wants more out of life.”
That source and a third also claimed that Fischer’s autism “has also become a minor issue for their relationship.”
In response to the report, a source admitted to People that although the two are “privately working through normal issues that couples in long-term marriages have,” they are “both committed to the relationship.”
Schumer and Fischer married in February 2018.
