When one co-host returns, another one leaves. On this morning’s episode of The View—which welcomed Whoopi Goldberg back after her week-long absence—Alyssa Farah Griffin was noticeably missing from the Hot Topics table.
Goldberg took some time away from The View last week to film her first-ever soap opera in Italy. But right when she returned to her moderating duties, Griffin seemed to call out. Instead, this morning’s episode only featured four of the five co-hosts: Goldberg, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, and Ana Navarro.

Where is Alyssa Farah Griffin today? Was she fired from The View?
No, Griffin was not fired from The View. At the top of the broadcast, Goldberg said, “Alyssa is out today and I am back today,” though she made no mention as to why Griffin was out or when she would be back.
It should be noted that Griffin is around seven months pregnant, so perhaps she had a doctor’s appointment? Morning sickness? An early (yet much-deserved) babymoon? We’re not sure, but we hope to see her back on The View soon!

We’re not sure when Griffin will be back on The View, but she’s not one to miss more than one day. With that in mind, we’re hoping to see her back sitting at the Hot Topics table tomorrow morning.
