Brandon Ingram throws water bottle, hits Raptors staffer in ugly scene

Brandon Ingram’s frustration boiled over in Philadelphia.
Unfortunately for the former All-Star swingman, this moment caught one of the Raptors’ staffers in the crossfire.
Ingram slammed a water bottle in frustration after a sequence where he was called for committing a foul on Trendon Watford and appeared to be limping following the play during the third quarter of Toronto’s loss to the 76ers on Thursday.
The bottle ricocheted and hit a team staffer in the face, splashing water across the Raptors’ bench.
It appeared to even make contact with nearby teammates.
Ingram sat there in disgust as Raptors employees scrambled to clean up the mess from the exploded water bottle.
While the moment didn’t lead to any immediate penalty or ejection, the clip quickly went viral.
The Raptors haven’t issued a formal statement, and there’s been no indication of league discipline for the incident.
The league hasn’t commented publicly yet, but the NBA typically reviews any incident that involves player conduct toward staff or officials, even if unintentional.
Ingram finished the night with 21 points on 7-for-17 shooting, also recording eight rebounds and five assists.
The Raptors lost to the 76ers, 130-120, dropping to 5-5 on the young season while also watching their four-game winning streak end.
Ex-Knicks Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett paced the Raptors in the loss, leading the way with 22 points each.
The 76ers were again led by Tyrese Maxey, who had a game-high 31 points along with seven assists.
