Chad Ollinger is facing a murder charge after his cellmate was found dead inside a Las Vegas jail.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD), the Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch alum, 41, was taken into custody after corrections officers discovered a male inmate lying motionless inside his cell while conducting routine checks around 11:20 p.m. on Dec. 26.

The officers observed that the inmate was suffering from apparent blunt force injuries, officials said. Although officers immediately rendered aid to the victim and requested for medical personnel to respond, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Upon further investigation, the police department said that a physical altercation seemed to have occurred between Chad and the victim inside the cell. The reality star was rebooked for open murder, and the investigation remains ongoing.
