Dakota Fanning Reveals the Sweet Memento She Kept from Her Time Working with Denzel Washington in ‘Man on Fire’

Dakota Fanning has a great archive of career mementos.

The All Her Fault star, 31, recently sat down with Deadline for their Take Ten series, where she was asked about props she’s kept from the many memorable films that have made up her career so far.

“I have the Creasy bear from Man on Fire,” she shared, referring to the teddy bear named after Denzel Washington‘s character in the film. “They gave that to me at the end.”

“From I Am Sam, I have this little shirt that I wore in a lot of the scenes. I have the yellow dress that I wore as Fern in Charlotte’s Web, in the fair scene. I have a lot of good, important stuff,” she continued.

“That tutu from Uptown Girls. I don’t know if I have that. It could be in storage. I wish I had that, if I don’t, but I might.”

When it came to memorable costars, Fanning laughed and said, “When I was on Charlotte’s Web, I worked with a lot of pigs and cows and sheep and geese. That was memorable.”

PEOPLE chatted exclusively with Fanning at the New York City premiere of her Peacock series on Nov. 3. The tense thriller about an abducted child was led by Succession’s Sarah Snook and also stars Jake Lacy, Abby Elliott, Sophia Lillis and Michael Peña.

During the discussion, the seasoned actress opened up about how she treats child actors on the set of projects she works on, working off her experience beginning her career at age 7.

“I sort of just treat them how I would treat any other actor. I think that’s what I appreciated when I was younger, so I just kind of go with that,” Fanning said.
