The best Christmas gifts of 2025, according to an expert

‘Tis the season to treat your nearest and dearest to something special — and when it comes to holiday gifts, Bloomingdale’s has plenty of excellent options in store.
Whether you’re picking presents for parents, friends, coworkers or a significant other (or just looking for surefire buys for those inevitable last-minute gifting scenarios), the iconic store is sure to have something that suits.
To help us sift through it all, we asked Bloomingdale’s personal shopper Stacey Oliver to tell us about a few of her best gift ideas — all of which you can shop below.
Featuring 14 full-size favorites from the brand’s popular Pillow Talk range — including a Matte Revolution lipstick, Lip Cheat lip liner, two eyeshadow palettes and two Beauty Light Wands — this dreamy makeup kit would be a perfect present for any beauty buff.
“It’s absolutely gorgeous, it has so many bestsellers — and just check out this packaging!” Stacey says.
Advent calendar obsessives are sure to adore the Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Treasure Chest, while Charlotte’s Iconic Magic Skin Duo makes a great stocking stuffer. (“Never met anyone who didn’t love the Magic Cream,” Stacey says.)

“Cashmere is an amazing giftable,” says Stacey, adding that the Bloomingdale’s-exclusive AQUA range offers a wide range of colors and cuts to suit any recipient.
“A crewneck is so cute and so easy to style with jeans and a little white T-shirt,” she explains, while the short-sleeved Cashmere Polo Sweater would be a good choice for someone who lives in a warmer climate.

Stacey calls Kim Kardashian’s brand “truly a one-stop shop for everyone on your list,” recommending the pajamas, sweats and gift sets in particular.

“As a personal shopper, I recommend that all of my clients have a few candles on hand for all those last-minute gifting needs — dinner parties, grab-and-go gifting, those sorts of things,” Stacey says.
During the holidays, you can’t go wrong with Voluspa’s seasonal scents, like Noble Fir Garland, Gingerbread Chalet and Crushed Candy Cane.
