Jeremy Renner slaps ex-film partner with a cease and desist, threatens legal action after romance claims

Jeremy Renner has hit his accuser Yi Zhou with a cease and desist letter after the filmmaker accused him of sending her “intimate” photos and threatening to “call ICE” on her earlier this week.

In his legal letter, the “Hawkeye” star denied Zhou’s claims against him, calling them “false, fabricated and salacious lies,” and accused her of aggressively pursuing him with inappropriate messages and photos.

Renner, 54, claimed he agreed to collaborate with Zhou on her documentary, “Chronicles of Disney,” but the filmmaker went on to make a pass at him, according to TMZ, who was the first report this news.

The actor explained that they had a “brief consensual encounter,” but that was the extent of their relationship. He said that he ended things in August when Zhou visited him.

However, after he drove her to the airport, he claimed Zhou, 37, sent him hundreds of explicit messages in an attempt to continue their relationship.

In one of the explicit messages, she allegedly wrote, “I want him inside of me so badly so so badly f–k me, babe.”

He claimed she also sent him a message talking about playing with Renner’s “fake giant thing” while she was thinking about “the real giant.”

In the letter, Renner accused Zhou of threatening to “harm him publicly” unless he agreed to promote her documentary and “make it falsely appear” they’re in a romantic relationship.

Reps for Renner did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

The update comes shortly after Renner hit back at Zhou’s allegations against him, completely denying her version of events in an exclusive statement shared with Page Six.

“The allegations being made are totally inaccurate and untrue,” a rep for the actor told us on Friday night.

Zhou accused Renner of sending her “personal and intimate” messages and threatening to “call ICE” on her after their falling out via Instagram on Monday.

“He convinced me of his sincerity, saying he had been single for a long time and open to a long-term relationship,” she continued. “I believed in him, in the power of love and in the possibility of redemption.”

Zhou went on to allege that the Marvel actor then “entered into written agreements” with her production company but later “refused” to promote their project and denied his personal and professional involvement with her.

“When I called him out privately about his past misconduct and asked him to behave properly, to respect me as a woman and as a filmmaker, he threatened to call immigration/ICE on me, an act that deeply shocked and frightened me,” Zhou shared.

On Thursday, Zhou went further with her claims against Renner by sharing a screenshot from a video clip that she claims the Marvel alum sent her via WhatsApp.

The video depicted a male porn actor and a female porn actress engaging in a sexual act. She claimed Renner allegedly sent her the clip along with a message that reads, “Oh, yes ? 🤤 This ok ???”

Along with the alleged incident, Zhou claimed she has “a collection of those photos and the porn gifs that he sent.”

Zhou claimed she and Renner began a brief romance after the actor introduced himself to her in June.

In September, she hinted at her romantic relationship with Renner by sharing several snaps and a recording of the pair riding through his Reno, Nev., hometown.

Just weeks before she made her bombshell claims against Renner, Zhou raved to Daily Mail that the couple had “found new love” with each other months after Renner’s recovery from his nearly fatal snow plow accident.
