Jets CB Kris Boyd back in hospital after NYC shooting laments to fans ‘I can’t get back to you’

New York Jets cornerback Kris Boyd was forced to return to the hospital over “health issues” more than a week after he was shot outside a Manhattan eatery.
Boyd, 29, shared the vague update in a social media post Wednesday evening.
“Please [bear] with me, I haven’t been in communication much … I was released but had to return to the hospital due to my health issues,” Boyd wrote in an Instagram story.
“I love and appreciate everyone of ya’ll dearly who has prayed/reached out even if I can’t get back to you!”
Boyd didn’t disclose any details on the medical saga, but indicated he was doing okay: “Head HIGH, God is not through with me yet!”
It’s not clear when Boyd was released from the hospital or how long he was at home before his health issues took a turn for the worse.
Boyd was initially listed in critical, but stable condition after a gunman pumped a bullet into his lungs during a Nov. 16 brawl.
The NFL player was out on the town with Gang Green linebacker Jamien Sherwood and wide receiver Irvin Charles at Sei Less Asian Fusion on West 38th Street when a gang of troublemakers began making fun of their fancy duds, law enforcement sources said.
The 2 a.m. scuffle turned verbal to physical quickly and shots were fired — with one slug striking Boyd in the abdomen.
Boyd was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, and was reportedly in good spirits just days after his brush with death.
He shared a clip on social media that showed him lying in a hospital bed with a smile plastered on his face
The gunman and his goons are still on the run but cops released surveillance camera photos of the man they believe is the one who pulled the trigger.
Neither Boyd nor his friends were armed, sources told The Post.
