Her bond was set to $22,300 and she has since been released, according to court records.
The Hinesville Police Department declined to provide any other information on the case or the reason behind the charges.
Her arrest comes after she reportedly launched a GoFundMe, which has since been deleted, aiming to raise funds for the funeral expenses after the death of her child, Keith Richard, according to local outlets WSAV and WTOC.
“My sweet baby boy, my best friend, my whole world has recently passed away,” she wrote in the deleted GoFundMe, per WTOC. “I am trying to raise the funds for bills.”
“We spent all our funds on funeral and urns and other things for our baby boy and we now are left with a hefty amount of bills and just need some help to get back on our feet,” she continued. “We are very stressed and heartbroken. Still have 6 children to raise and we are trying our best.”
This comes over two weeks after the Hinesville Police Department announced that it was investigating the death of a 2-year-old, who died from a suspected accidental, self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to local outlets WJCL and the Coastal Courier.
