My Favorite Crewneck Sweater from Amazon Is Just $30

Sweater weather is officially in full swing! 

Now that my collection of cozy sweaters is out of storage and in rotation, I’ve noticed that several are in need of replacement after suffering from unsightly pilling and pulls. Although one, which I’ve worn countless times over the past two years, has stood out as surprisingly sturdy. It’s not from a high-end brand either; in fact, the Lillusory Oversized Crewneck Sweater is one of the most affordable sweaters I own.

I rarely buy clothes on Amazon, mainly as a self-preservation tactic to keep my shopping budget in check, but these cozy picks caught my eye and didn’t result in buyer’s remorse. I personally own the sky blue color, and I’m considering adding another in one of the 42 other available hues to my collection, too. 

The stretchy material is thick and feels high-quality, with tidy rows of intricate cable knit stitching and durable seams. Despite its affordable price point, the sweater’s material isn’t itchy or rough against the skin. The tight stitching makes the sweater incredibly warm, keeping out gusts of wind, and I’ve found that it’s toasty enough to wear alone in 40- to 50-degree weather or layer under a jacket on chillier days. 

I ordered my normal size, and it fits a bit oversized, which I appreciate for pairing with leggings and yoga pants for a comfy-casual work-from-home outfit, but if you’re looking for a more tailored look, I’d recommend sizing down.

The brand recommends hanging the sweater to dry, which I admittedly have never done. Although it’s not expressly recommended, it holds up well in the washer and dryer without shrinking, in my experience.
