Adonai Mitchell looks like a Jets building block with breakout game

Fridays are known by NFL players and coaches as “Fast Fridays.” Those are the days when the meetings and practices are shorter, and players usually bolt from the team’s training centers as fast as possible.
That’s why it struck Jets wide receiver Isaiah Williams when he saw someone in the Jets indoor field this past Friday about an hour after everyone else had cleared out for the day.
It was Adonai Mitchell, catching passes from the JUGS machine.
“That’s the stuff that goes unnoticed,” Williams said Sunday. “You could see the progress he’s made since the first game. He’s a unique talent. He’s a special football player.”
