‘Seeking Sister Wife’ Star Garrick Merrifield Arrested for Alleged Domestic Violence

Seeking Sister Wife star Garrick Merrifield was arrested in Colorado and is facing a domestic violence charge.
Merrifield was arrested on charges of misdemeanor domestic violence and obstructing telephone service, the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office told PEOPLE.
Online records indicate that Merrifield has since been released from custody after being booked on Nov 24.
It is not immediately clear if he has entered a plea or retained an attorney.
Just over a week before his arrest, Merrifield announced the birth of his daughter with his wife Lorrana.

Merrifield married Lorrana, a native of Brazil in 2024. They are both in a de facto plural marriage with Dannielle Merrifield.
Garrick and Dannielle were legally married for 10 years and have three children together. The pair legally divorced in 2020 so he could marry another woman, PEOPLE previously reported.
Previously, Garrick had said he felt inspired by God to pursue a plural marriage and he and Dannielle began searching online.
Garrick, Dannielle and Lorrana star on Seeking Sister Wife, which has aired on TLC since 2018.
