The Vanderpump empire is expanding, and Lisa Vanderpump is nearly ready to welcome Bravo fans to her newest hospitality venture! The Vanderpump Hotel. is set to open in spring 2026, PEOPLE can confirm.

During the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, which occurred on Nov. 22 on the iconic Las Vegas Strip, Sean McBurney, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and Regional President at Caesars Entertainment, Inc., shared an update on the new hotel and what it’s like working with the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, 65.

“It was hard to restrain Lisa to not talk about it too much during BravoCon because she’s very proud of it,” said McBurney of the star’s transformation of The Cromwell, a boutique hotel sitting at the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road, into the forthcoming Vanderpump Hotel.

The CCO also shared that the reality star is all-hands-on-deck when it comes to the development, from “designing everything” to “manufacturing everything,” right down to the inspections.

“Her level of involvement is— I’ve never, in the 20 years I’ve been in this business, I’ve never seen anything like it,” McBurney shared. “She recognizes [that] the first hotel project for her is setting her on an entirely different trajectory. So she has taken a level of ownership that I’ve never seen.”

Having worked with Vanderpump on her previous projects at Caesars Palace — including the 2019 opening of Vanderpump Cocktail Garden and the recently opened Wolf by Vanderpump restaurant— McBurney highlights that the star expresses a certain throughline across her projects that’s notable in her design choices.

“This is unmistakably Lisa Vanderpump, but unlike anything I’ve seen her do before,” added McBurney, emphasizing that the new venue will answer a longtime call for more “thematic” and “unique” experiences on The Strip.

The TV star and entrepreneur first announced the development exclusively with PEOPLE back in March, when she called the new hotel “another passion project.”

“It’s a very different challenge, because it’s an existing building, than what we’ve created before, [where] we literally built a casino floor into a restaurant,” she said at the time. “We’re going to be working with the parameters of the hotel walls. It’s not like we are knocking anything down but we’re refurbishing all the rooms. It’s great that it’s a boutique hotel and it’s on The Strip. It’s just a wonderful project for the Vanderpump brand.”

The 188-room property will have 19 suites, described by Vanderpump as “attainable luxury,” and will include renovated common areas such as a gaming space, the front check-in lobby and the central bar area, while still holding onto the magic and history of its predecessor.

“[The Flamingo] is the oldest or the first hotel on the strip. So it was basically creating something that felt like you pulled back the curtain and this had been here forever,” Vanderpump told PEOPLE. “That’s why when you look at the floor, you almost believe that’s an original.”

Vanderpump worked with her design partner, Nick Alain, on the new hotel, as well as Vanderpump Cocktail Gardens and Vanderpump à Paris at Paris Las Vegas. The duo also partnered for the luxury eatery, Pinky’s, which opened in December 2024 and is located in the Vanderpump Hotel.

While Vanderpump rose to fame in front of reality TV cameras, this venture (for now) is all about creating a business she’s proud of and guests can enjoy.

“The last 15 years of my life has been documented,” she mused. “You’ve seen me open restaurants, and so I think that could be a natural progression, But right now, I just need to get the whole situation in the Vanderpump style and up and running before I even consider that.”
