Tom Brady reflects on ‘special’ Thanksgiving in new family photos

Tom Brady said he “had one of the best Thanksgivings ever” visiting Michigan, his alma mater, with his family after he called Thursday’s Packers-Lions game on Fox Sports.

The future Hall of Fame quarterback shared a carousel of photos from the game at Ford Field — as well as his weekend festivities in Ann Arbor with his and ex-wife Gisele Bündchen’s kids, Benjamin, 15, and Vivian, 12, and his son, Jack, 18, from his previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan.

“What a special thanksgiving weekend with the people I love most!” Brady, 48, wrote. “Laughing, playing, eating too much… and enjoying our family and football and tradition in the state of Michigan.”

One photo shows Brady hugging Vivian while standing on the University of Michigan field, where the retired NFL star played from 1996-99. Jack and Benjamin are sporting Michigan gear at the stadium while posing with their dad in another snapshot.

“It’s always such a special experience being on the Michigan campus, especially now that I don’t have to take finals anymore!

“We got to go to the big house to see Michigan football take on a great Ohio State team 😠 And to see so many former teammates and friends meant the world to me. I’m so appreciative and grateful for all the incredible memories and relationships that have been created since I started at Michigan in 1995,” Brady continued.

“And to share that experience and all those memories with my kids was a dream come true. The game didn’t quite turn out the way we hoped (I still maintain it was a touchback!) But the sun always comes up the next day, and to realize that it was one of the best weekends of my life Surrounded by the love of my parents means the world to me. I look forward to coming back soon and to finishing the NFL season strong and creating more unforgettable memories with this crew. Sending my love to you all and gratitude and I hope you all had an incredible Thanksgiving as well. Even the people in Columbus 😉.”

The Wolverines were dominated by No. 1 Ohio State — the defending national champions — 27-9 on Saturday.

Brady’s parents, Galynn Patricia and Tom Sr., are shown in other family photos.

Brady and Bündchen were together for 13 years before they finalized their divorce in October 2022.

Brady, who’s in his second season as an analyst with Fox Sports, also gushed over working alongside play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt as a part of the network’s No. 1 game booth — including sideline reporters Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi.

“I am so blessed to work with the best team at @foxsports delivering a great game between the Lions and the Packers,” Brady said, referring to Green Bay’s 31-24 victory over Detroit on Thanksgiving.

“Working with Kevin Burkhardt and Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi and our entire crew made last Thursday so much fun.”
