Carissa Norman couldn’t believe her eyes when a one-of-a-kind, custom pink G-Wagon rolled into the Mercedes-Benz in Scottsdale, Ariz.

“I thought, ‘This is the perfect car for a girl. Like, what are you talking about?’ ” the 25-year-old sales specialist tells PEOPLE exclusively. “Pink on pink, with white and pink checkered accents throughout the whole vehicle. It is just screaming pink and girl, and I love it.”

Even though Norman had only been working at the store for three weeks, she knew she had to share the car immediately. She grabbed a few quick clips, posted them on TikTok and went to bed.

But the next morning, she was stunned. Over 250,000 people had seen her video. Since then, the TikTok has soared to nearly 5.7 million views, with thousands leaving comments and DMs suggesting potential buyers — including singer-songwriter Madison Beer.

Trisha Paytas commented, that was crazy,” Norman says. “I grew up watching Trisha on YouTube, seeing her [go to the] drive thru, eat in her car, just talking about her life. So I was super excited when she commented, and Tana Mongeau too. They both inquired about it, and that was just freaking wild.”

“I could not believe the attention it got and the views, and I’m just very thankful and grateful,” she adds. “I’ve always wanted to put myself out there, and I’m very nervous to. So when we got the car, and I was able to make this happen — it was amazing.”

Over the next few days, Norman shared more about the car after thousands inquired following its viral debut. Then, on Monday, Nov. 24, she posted a TikTok update announcing it had been sold.

She says it ultimately landed in the hands of one special buyer: Shelby Haas, an influencer and founder of the world’s largest all-women remote sales academy. Haas, who has a following of 590,000 people on TikTok and 1 million on Instagram, later shared on her own TikTok that she never imagined buying a “half a million dollar car in cash.”

“I just bought my dream car!! The pink G-Wagon y’all told me to buy it, so I did HAHAHHA,” she captioned a video showing off the vehicle.

Norman recalls the moment they first connected: it was Sunday, her day off, and she was waiting for a client to pick up a car when she looked up and saw Alex Eubank walking by.

“I did a double-take. I realized this was Shelby’s boyfriend,” Norman says. “Then I looked straight ahead, and there was Shelby filming, and I just screamed her name. She hadn’t commented or DM’d me about the car; she just saw my TikTok and showed up.”

“I was so excited because she’s a women-in-sales influencer,” Norman adds. “I’ve always followed her work on negotiation and sales training, and I ran up, hugged her and showed her the car. She absolutely adored it and fell in love with it. I told her it would be perfect for marketing, for her brand, her influencing.”

Since selling the pink G-Wagon, Norman and Haas have stayed in touch. Norman says that Haas is “super thankful.” Now, looking forward the future, Norman says she’s excited to help more clients find their own dream vehicles.

“I’m able to do more custom G-Wagons,” she says. “If people would like to inquire, they can call the store or DM me on Instagram or TikTok, and we can arrange one for them too.”

“I make the car-buying experience really fun and all about them,” she adds. “I want to help them find the perfect vehicle, and if I can’t, I’ll source it for them. And if someone wants a custom G-Wagon — or any custom car — I can definitely make that happen.”
